I'm Surya.
Hello and welcome to my page. My name is Surya Gyawali. I am a stargazer with a deep passion for physics, space, electronics, and teaching. Iβm currently pursuing my MSc in Physics at KMUTT (Bangkok), where my thesis and research assistant work focus on AI-guided molecular modeling of the GLP-1 receptor β connecting physics, computation, and real-world health problems.
Since 2016, I have been working with Karkhana Samuha, where I lead and support projects that promote hands-on STEAM learning and Making Spaces in Nepali schools. My work includes designing playful engineering-based lessons, co-creating making spaces with teachers and students, developing learning resources, and facilitating teacher training's that center learning by doing.
I completed my BSc in Physics and Statistics from Tribhuvan University (Tri-Chandra College) and now split my time between graduate research, teaching assistance in core physics courses at KMUTT, and continuing my long-term commitment to equitable STEM education in Nepal.
In addition to my dedication to science and technology, I am a huge Superman fanβa fitting hero for someone captivated by space and its boundless possibilities.
